Rebecca "Becky" Dossey Simpson,53, of Brownfield were held Thursday,
Nov. 29, in the First Baptist Church of Gorman with Rev. Barry
Schahn officiating. Burial was in Oaklawn Cemetery in Gorman. Mrs. Simpson died Monday, Nov. 26, 2007, in Lubbock. She was born April 26, 1954, in Odessa and was married to Jackie Don Simpson on Oct. 17, 1981, in Gorman. She was a housewife and a member of the First Baptist Church in Gorman. Mrs. Simpson is survived by her husband; three sons--Chance of Austin, Casey of Brownfield and Cody of Lubbock and one daughter--Rachel Wilson of De Leon. She is also survived by her parents--Darrell and June Dossey of Gorman; one brother--David Lynn Dossey of Breckenridge; one sister--Tracy June Spivey of Gorman and by three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one brother--Gary Wayne Dossey. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Gorman Building Fund or the First Baptist Church of Brownfield Building Fund.
