| Services for Kearby Sexton, 77, of Brownfield will be at 11 am,
Thursday, Aug. 28, at Brownfield First Baptist Church with Rev. Randy Land officiating. Burial will be at 10:30 am at Terry County Memorial Cemetery prior to the service under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home. Kearby passed away August 25, 2008, in Brownfield. He was born June 10, 1931, in Brownfield to Tira Garland and Ina Sexton. He attended and graduated from Brownfield High School in 1948. He farmed in Terry County for 30 years and was on the board of directors of the Co-op Station for 22 years. He enjoyed woodworking and his work with the church youth and mission trips. He had been a member of Brownfield First Baptist Church since 1940. He is preceded in death by two brothers, Lonnie and T.G. Sexton. He is survived by his wife, Loryce Sexton of Brownfield; a daughter, Denny Sexton of Florence; a son, Alan Sexton and his wife Pam of Wolfforth; two grandsons, Kearby Rhyan Sexton and Joshua Alan Sexton of Wolfforth; a sister, Dorothy Foote of Seminole; a sister-in-law, Geraldine Sexton of Lubbock; and several nieces and nephews.
