Lydia M. Servantes

Lydia M. Servantes, 64, of Brownfield passed away on Friday, February 10,
2006, at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock. She was born on Sept
14, 1941,
to Alfredo and Manuela Marroquin in Floresville, Texas. On
August 22, 1959,
she married the love of her life, Adam Servantes, in Floresville.
They have been
in Brownfield since the late 1970's. Her special accomplishment in
life was her
children. She also loved to decorate her home.
There were prayer services for Mrs. Servantes on Sunday and Monday evenings,
February 12th & 13th at Mark A. Jones Memorial Chapel in
Brownfield. Funeral
Services were held Tuesday, February 14, 2006, at 2:00 P.M. also at Mark A.
Jones
Memorial Chapel with Rev. Tobias Gonzales officiating.
Those left to cherish her memories include her husband, Adam, of the home;
4 Sons: Ray and Ernest, both of Brownfield, Leroy of Huntsville and Adam, Jr.,
of
California; 2 Daughters: Paula Arteaga of Brownfield and Sylvia Barrera of
Levelland;
1 Brother: Pete Marroquin of Brownfield and 1 Sister: Soyla Vasquez, of Wellman.
She also left 20 Grandchildren and 9 Great-grandchildren. She was
preceded in
death by her parents, 3 brothers, 3 sisters and 3 sons.
