Obituary for Bud Seaton

Services for B. D. 'Bud' Seaton, 90, of Brownfield were held
Tuesday, Jan. 18, in the Brownfield Church of Christ with
Bob Reynolds and Derek McNamara officiating. Burial was
in Terry County Memorial Cemetery.

Mr. Seaton died Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2007, in Brownfield.   He
was born Oct. 6, 1916 in Fisher County to Grover and Alice Seaton.
He was married to Lena Campbell in Sept. 23, 1939, in Dunn. She
died on March 24, 2006.

Mr. Seaton attended school in Red Mud.   He and his wife moved to
the Foster Community in Terry County in 1940. They farmed in the
Pool Community for 50 years. He was a member of the Brownfield
Church of Christ.

He is survived by two daughters---Lavone Lewis and her husband:
Duane and Phyllis McCutcheon and her husband---Dennis, all of Brownfield.

Mr. Seaton is also survived by four sons---Doyle and his wife, Candi, of Plains, Ronnie and his wife---Brenda of Brownfield, Burl and his wife---Kathy of Peoria, AZ, and Steven and his wife---Diana of Lenora, KS

He is also survived by three brothers---J.C., Bradley, and Ira, all of Brownfield, and two sisters---Julia Woodard of Brownfield and Cora Rose Jones of San Angelo.

Mr. Seaton is also survived by 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.    He was preceded in death by a grandson---Burk Donald Seaton in 1971.   Family members served as pallbearers.
