Obituary for Maximino Sanchez, Jr.

Maximino Sanchez, Jr., age 59, of Brownfield passed away on Monday, October 8, 2007, at his home. A Rosary was prayed Thursday at 7 P.M. at Mark A. Jones Memorial Chapel in Brownfield. The Funeral Mass was held at 10:00 A.M., Friday, October 12, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church with Father Gerald Leatham officiating. Burial followed in Brownfield Cemetery.

Mr. Sanchez was born June 30, 1948, to Maximino Sr. and Siriaca Molina in Rio Hondo, Texas. He attended school in Mexico and moved to Brownfield in 1961. In 1970 he married Maria De LaLuz Mendoza in Edinburg, Texas. They have been married for 36 years.

Those left to cherish his memories include his wife, Maria of the home, his mother Siriaca Sanchez of Monterey, Mexico; seven daughters; Linda Sanchez, Sonia Sanchez Garcia, and Mary Ann Mendoza of Brownfield, Lidia Sanchez and Irene Sanchez Garcia, both of El Paso, and Eva Sanchez and Angela Sanchez also of Brownfield. He also leaves 11 Grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by 1 son, Daniel, in 1984, his father, 2 brothers and
2 sisters.
