Eddie Don Ryburn, 56, of Brownfield were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday,
June 7, 2011, at Brownfield First Baptist Church with Rev. Steve
Carter and Dr. Carl Moman officiating. Burial was in Terry County
Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home. Eddie passed away Saturday, June 4, 2011, in a Lubbock hospital. He was born November 19, 1954, in Lubbock to Doug and Waneta (Brown) Ryburn. He graduated from Brownfield High School and then attended South Plains College. He married Terry Biggerstaff on November 25, 1987, in Brownfield. Eddie owned and operated Ryburn's Muffler Shop for over 30 years. He loved riding horses and roping. He had served as County Commissioner for four years and was a past board member of the Chamber of Commerce. Eddie was a member of Brownfield First Christian Church. He is preceded in death by his father in 2007. Eddie is survived by his wife Terri of Brownfield; his mother, Waneta Ryburn of Brownfield; two sisters, Debra Adkins and husband Joe of Chino, Calif., and Patti Law of Amarillo; two daughters, Brittney and Courtney Ryburn, both of Lubbock; and two grandchildren, Eddika Martinez and Devin Hines, both of Lubbock. |
