"Scooter" Roscoe, of Oklahoma City, Okla. died Thursday, Feb. 14,
2008. Memorial services were held at Covenant
Presbyterian Church in Oklahoma City on Friday, Feb. 22.
Burial will be in Brownfield Cemetery at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb.
26. He was born on Jan. 29, 1942, to the late Jimmie Roscoe Doss and Lenis M. Roscoe, Sr., in Brownfield. He was preceded in death by his father--Thomas S. Doss. He graduated from Brownfield High School in 1960 and attended Texas Tech where he played football in 1961 and 1962. He left college to enlist in the U.S. Air Force and served there for two years. He was self employed for many years before joining the Oklahoma Employment Security Commission where he retired in 2007. He is survived by his special friend, Adele Jack of Oklahoma City; one son--Scott Roscoe Jauregui and his wife--Dorian and one grandson--Andrew of San Antonio. He is also survived by one daughter--Lori Navarro and her husband--Billy and granddaughters--Shea and Kori of San Antonio; one brother--Scott Doss and his wife--Kristy of Wolfforth and their family, and numerous aunts and uncles.
