Obituary for Wanda Belle Rogers

Wanda Belle Rogers, 76, of Brownfield passed away Friday, March 16, 2007, in Lubbock. Services were Tuesday, March 20, at the Brownfield Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Rev. Jerry Payne officiating. Interment was in the Terry County Memorial Cemetery.

Mrs. Rogers was born on April 28, 1930, in Brown County to John and Eula Proctor. She moved with her family to O'Donnell where she graduated from high school. She married Lawrence "Sonny" Rogers on March 4, 1949 in Tahoka.

Mrs. Rogers and her husband moved to Brownfield in 1950. She was preceded in death by her brother, J. L. Proctor and her sister, Corene Franks.

She is survived by her husband; two daughters: Teddy Rogers Mooney of Austin and Terry Deeon Rogers of Lubbock; two sons: Rodney Rogers and his wife Myra of Farmington, NM and Randy Rogers of Lubbock.

Mrs. Rogers is also survived by two sisters: Sue Cooper of Brownfield and Jettie Adcock of Ozona, eight Grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
