J. "Pete" Rogers, 84, of Brownfield will be at 2 pm, Saturday, April
19, at the Brownfield First United Methodist Church with Rev.
Charles Addington officiating. Burial will be in Terry County
Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home. Jo Pete passed away April 16, 2008, in Lubbock. She was born August 26, 1923, in Brownfield to Tom and Ida May and graduated from Brownfield High School. She then attended Texas Tech University, graduating with a bachelor of science in home economics. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church. Jo Pete is survived by a son, Mike Rogers and his wife Cathy, of Lubbock; a daughter, Rande Spector of San Antonio; a sister, Ethelda Oakley of Midland; six grandchildren, Julia Spector of San Antonio, Sam Spector of Korea, Eli Spector of San Antonio, Miriam Spector of San Antonio, Josh Rogers of Lubbock and Rachel Rogers of Lubbock. The family received friends at the funeral home on Friday. Brownfield News |
