Services for Josefa H. Rodriguez, 99, of Brownfield, will be held at 2 p.m.,
Friday,
May 26, 2006, in St. Anthony's Catholic Church with Father Gerald Leatham
officiating.
Burial will be in Brownfield Cemetery.
Mrs. Rodriguez died Tuesday, May 23, 2006, in Brownfield. She was
born March 5,
1907, in San Luis Potosi, Mexico, and was married to Juan Rodriguez in 1926 in
Austin.
Mrs. Rodriguez and her husband moved to Brownfield in 1938. She was
employed at the
Village Grill for 36 years. She was a member of St. Anthony's
Catholic Church and the
Guadalupanas Women's Organization.
She is survived by six sons: Leonard Rodriguez of Brownfield, Lazaro
Rodriguez of
Lubbock, Joe Rodriguez of San Angelo, Eugene Rodriguez of Lansing, Mich., Pete
Flores
of Santa Rosa, Texas, and Domingo Alvarado of Cheyenne, Wyo.
She is also
survived by five daughters: Margretia Grimaldo, Dominga Garcia and Margie
Garcia
all of Brownfield, Ernestina Sotello of San Antonio and Juanita Flores of Mason.
She is also survived by many, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and
great-great
grandchildren.
