Mary I. Rodolph

Memorial services for Mary I. Rodolph, 86, of Brownfield were held Tuesday, Aug.
1,
in the Brownfield First United Methodist Church with Rev. Charles Addington
officiating.
Cremation was under the direction of Combest-Miller Mortuary and Crematory of
Floydada.
Rodolph died Friday, July 28, 2006 in Brownfield. She was born Sept.
21, 1919 in
Cushing, Okla., and was married to Max Rodolph on Nov. 19, 1944 in Cleveland,
Okla.
She was raised in Cleveland, Okla., where she graduated from high school. She
also graduated
from Oklahoma College for Women with a B.S. Degree in Economics in 1941. She
taught school
in Rush Springs, Okla.
Rodolph and her husband moved to Brownfield in 1981 from Hobbs, N.M. where
they had lived for 35 years. She was a member of the Brownfield First
United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband; two daughters, Jeanne Howarth of Gum Springs,
Va.
and Gwen Taylor of Midland; one son, Bill of Ruidoso, N.M.; and
one sister, Lurene Bivin of Stroud, Okla.
She is also survived by three grandsons, Derick Rodolph of Lubbock,
Ward Howarth of Richmond, Va. and Ben Taylor of Midland; three granddaughters,
Courtney Howarth of Richmond, Va., and Katy and Emily Taylor, both of Midland.
She is also survived by two great-grandsons, Christian and Corey Rodolph, both
of Lubbock.
