Celia Robles, age 89 passed away Monday, January 25, 2010, in Brownfield.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Robles were held Friday, January 29, 2010, at 10:00 A.M. at El Shaddai Church in Brownfield with Pastor Genaro Guerrero officiating. Burial followed in Brownfield Cemetery. Personal services were under the direction of Mark A. Jones Funeral Directors of Brownfield.

Celia was born August 22, 1920, to George and Maria Prado, Sr. in Wheelock, Texas. She moved to Brownfield in 1999 from Welch.

Her family remembers how she loved to sew, crochet and knit,  and cook for her family. During her life time Mrs. Robles worked as a private home health care provider.

Those left to cherish her memory are her Son, Adam Robles of Brownfield; 5 Daughters: Estella Guajardo of Lamesa, Virginia Martinez and Janie Guzman of Welch and Carmen Velez and Silvia Mondragon of Lubbock; 5 Brothers: Gilbert Prado, Roy Prado and Benny Prado all of Lubbock, George Prado Jr of Stephenville and Johnny Prado of Austin and her sister, Margaret Prado of Austin. She also leaves behind 39 Grandchildren, 26 Great Grandchildren and 3 Great Great Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents George and Maria Prado, Sr.; her husband of 34 years, Juan Robles, Sr.; 2 Sons: John Robles, Jr. and Gilbert Robles and 2 Brothers and 3 Sisters.
