Georgie Robertson were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 15, at Shady
Oaks Church of God with Rev. Eugene Ballard officiating. Burial was
in Terry County Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield
Funeral Home. Georgie passed away Saturday, July 11, 2009, in Brownfield. She was born May 22, 1922, in Normangee to Jesse G. and Winnie H. Stucker and moved with her family to Terry County in 1934. Georgie married Simon James Robertson on February 9, 1949, in Brownfield. He preceded her in death on June 8, 1969. Georgie was a seamstress working in the Dry Cleaning business and retiring in 2005. She was a member of Shady Oaks Church of God. She is also preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara Ann Robertson, three brothers and three sisters. Georgie is survived by four children, Haskell Robertson and wife Susan of Brownfield, Robert Robertson and wife Bonnie of Lake Ransom, Jesse Robertson and wife Linda of Llano and Avis DePoyster and husband Gary of Brownfield; 15 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Nathaniel Stucker of LaMirada, Calif., and Luther Stucker of Wichita Falls.
