Obituary for Paco Alfredo Rivera, Jr.

"Paco" Alfredo Rivera Jr., age 36, of Brownfield passed away Friday,
May 30, 2008, at his residence in Brownfield.

A rosary was prayed Sunday, June 1, at Mark A. Jones Memorial Chapel in
Brownfield. The Funeral Mass was held Monday, June 2 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church with Father Gerald Leatham officiating. Burial followed in Brownfield Cemetery.

Mr. Rivera was born on August 4, 1971, in Lubbock to Alfredo and Elvira Rivera. He attended school in Brownfield. He has lived in Brownfield all of his life.

"Paco" will be remembered by his family as a man who was passionate about life. He was always willing to help anyone he could up to the time of his death. His hobbies included barbecuing and telling jokes. His love was his daughter, mom and family.

Those left to cherish his memories include one daughter, Kimery Rivera of
Odessa, his parents, Alfredo, Sr. and Elvira Rivera of Brownfield, grandmother
Olivia Rivera, two brothers, Daniel Longoria of Abilene and Freddie Ramirez of Brownfield, four sisters, Liza Flores, Sonja Rivera, Monica Garcia and Amber Rivera, all of Brownfield, three nieces and four nephews.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Olivia Martinez, and his paternal grandfather, Bonafacio Rivera.

Brownfield.
