Cesario Medina Rivera

Services for Cesario Medina Rivera, 81, of Brownfield were held Wednesday,
Sept. 6, in St. Anthony's Catholic Church with Rev. Gerald Letham officiating.
Burial was in Terry County Memorial Cemetery.
Mr. Rivera died Sunday, Sept. 3, 2006 in Lubbock. He was born June 17,
1925
in George West to Andres and Antonia Rivera and was married to Consuelo
Constancio on Nov. 26, 1948 in Brownfield.
He moved to Brownfield in 1947. He owned and operated Cecil's Trim Shop and
Barber Shop for 35 years until his retirement in 1986. He was a
World War II
U.S. Army veteran and was a member of the American Legion.
He is survived by his wife; three daughters---Ismeralda Garcia and her husband,
Reuben, of Round Rock, Nancy Bosquez and her husband, Abel, of Amarillo and
Carmina Mitchell of Lubbock, and two sons---Robert and Randy and his wife,
Theresa, all of Round Rock.
He is also survived by three sisters---Lupe Caberera of Brownfield, Santos
Deanda
of Jal, N.M. and Francis Resendez of Orange Grove and one brother---Jake of
Brownfield. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 15
great-grandchildren and
one great-great-grandchild.
Pallbearers were his grandsons---Steve and Tommy Gutierrez, Santos Flores,
Danny Rodriguez and Michael and Randy Pierce.
