Joyce Louise Riley, 65, of Brownfield were held Monday, August 31,
2009 at Immanuel Baptist Church with Rev. Jody O'Briant and Rev. Jon
Patrick officiating. Burial was in Terry County Memorial Cemetery
under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home. Joy was born December 17, 1943, in Muleshoe and attended Muleshoe and Lamesa schools. She married Robert "Bob" Thomas Riley, April 18, 1977, in Clovis, NM. She was a member of the Elks Lodge 903 and Immanuel Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by a son, Robert "Sam" T. Riley, Jr. Joy is survived by her husband Bob Riley of Brownfield; a son, Terry Davis and wife Sandra of Brownfield; 3 daughters, Lori Davilla and husband Alex of San Angelo, Angie Calder and husband Dennis of Amarillo and Marcie Harris of Amarillo; her parents, Leon and Delsi Dove of Edenburg and Margie Taylor of Matador; 5 brothers, Dennis Dove and wife Raine of Denton, Ronnie Dove of Austin, Alan Dove and wife HaeSoo of Austin, David Taylor of Matador and Leslie Taylor of Lubbock; 2 sisters, Pricilla Bradley of Edenburg and Jan Martin of Matador; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
