Obituary for Ellen Louise Riley

Services for Ellen Louise Riley, 79, of Brownfield were held Monday, Dec. 31, at Abundant Harvest Community Church with Rev. Lynn Dill officiating. Burial was in Terry County Memorial Cemetery.

Mrs. Riley died Friday, Dec. 28, 2007, in Lubbock. She was born May 28, 1928, in Sylvester to Delbert and Edith Davis. She attended school in McCaulley and Brownfield. She moved to Brownfield in 1942. She married J. V. Riley, May 18, 1946, in Lubbock.

She was a member of the Meadow Baptist Church.

Mrs. Riley is preceded in death by her parents and a brother--George Davis. She is survived by her husband--J.V. Riley of Brownfield; one daughter--Yvette Adams and her husband--Johnny of Brownfield. She is also survived by two grandchildren--Zane and Desirea Harris; three sisters--Margaret Davis, Wilma Kendrick and Merrel Foster and one brother--Gerrel Davis.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society and Abundant Harvest Church.
