Obituary for Maggie Mae Reese

Graveside services for Maggie Mae Reese, 90, formerly of Meadow will be 10:30 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 25, at Terry County Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Ken Horn officiating.   Mrs. Reese passed away Monday, Oct. 22, 2007, in Portales, N.M. She was born March 7, 1917, in Broadway to Ira and Velma Maddox.

She married Alvis Reese, April 3, 1935, in Floydada. He preceded her in death April 10, 1979.    They moved to the Needmore area in Terry County in 1948, where she lived until 2003.   Mrs. Reese was a member of the First Baptist Church in Meadow.

She is also preceded in death by a granddaughter--Vikki Carpenter.

Mrs. Reese is survived by two sons--Billy of Dora, N.M. and Charles of Brownfield; one daughter--Twila Tuttle of Lubbock; five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren and one sister--Sallie Williams of Houston.
