Carl B. Pye

services for Carl Benard Pye, 77, of Brownfield were held, Wed.,
Sept. 26, in the Terry County Memorial Cemetery with Jody O'Briant
officiating. Mr. Pye passed Sunday, Sept. 23, 2007,
in Brownfield. He was born Jan. 30, 1930, in Lincoln Parrish, LA., to Ed and Gracie Pye and graduated from Ruston, LA., High School. He moved to Brownfield in 1954. He married Johnie Benthall Jan. 27, 1955, in Brownfield and farmed in the Union Community for more than 45 years. He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother. Mr. Pye is survived by his wife, Johnie, of Brownfield; two sons--Randy of Knoxville, Tenn. and Mark of Brownfield; one daughter--Susan Iverson of Sugarland and one granddaughter--Courtney Pye of Birmingham, Al. The family suggests memorials to Terry County Cemetery Association or to the charity of one's choice.
