91, of Brownfield passed away Friday, May 11, 2007, at her home.
She was born March 29, 1916, in Waurika, Okla., to Grover Cleveland
and Hattie Biddle Thomas Brantley. Mrs. Prather attended school in Oklahoma. She moved with her parents to Lynn County in 1925 and then to Tokio Community in Yoakum County in 1929. She married Virgil Prather, Feb. 29, 1936, in Brownfield. He preceded her in death March 10, 1971. She is also preceded in death by two brothers, A. G. and Evert Brantley and a granddaughter Corby Blyth Charlebois. Ozell was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She is survived by two daughters: Betty Jo Charlebois of Brownfield and Myrna Yun and her husband, George of Waco, her sister: Evelyn Farrar of Brownfield. She is also survived by three grandchildren; Dee Dee Charlebois, Beverly Deleon and her husband, Ralph, and Guy Yun and his wife, Linda, and four great grandchildren: Heather DeLeon, Charlotte DeLeon, Zachary DeLeon, and Christopher Yun.
