Porter, 63, of Brownfield, passed away Tuesday, December 13, 2011,
at Brownfield Regional Hospital. She was born December 23, 1947, to Allen Porter Sr. and Birdie Richardson. Dorothy's memories are entrusted to her husband, Willie Nolan; children, Deborah Williams and Christopher; mother, Birdie Richardson; sisters, Sewilla Brown and Gloria Johnson; brother, Lorenzo Richardson Jr.; grandchildren Damani Green and Kyrie Williams; and a host of other relatives and friends. Celebration of Life Services will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, December 19, 2011, at Greater New Hope Baptist Church, Brownfield. Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery, Brownfield under the direction of Griffin Mortuary. Family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday at Griffin Mortuary. |
