                                Services for Annie Jane Pollard, 75, of Lubbock, formerly of Brownfield, will be at
                                2:00 p.m., Monday, December 5, 2005, at Brownfield First Christian Church with
                                the Rev. Chad McMullin officiating.   Interment will be in Terry County Memorial
                                Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.

                                She died Friday, December 2, 2005, in Lubbock and was born April 15, 1930, in
                                Fieldton, Texas.   She attended grammer school in Fieldton and graduated from
                                Amherst High School.   She graduated from Wayland Baptist University where she
                                was a member of the original Wayland Baptist Flying Queen's Basketball Team.

                                She married David Pollard, III, May 13, 1979, in Brownfield.   She was a teacher for
                                the Brownfield Independent School District for 36 years before her retirement and
                                was a member of the First Christian Church of Brownfield and the Retired Teachers
                                Association.

                                Jane is survived by her husband, David Pollard, III, of Lubbock; a daughter: Janey
                                McIlroy and her husband, Larry, of Levelland; three sons: Martin Carpenter of 
                                Pampano Beach, FL, David O. Pollard, IV, and his wife, Julie, of Hurst, TX., & Alaric
                                Pollard of Lubbock; a sister Francis Tinker of Hallsville, TX., a granddaughter, Latova
                                Ewings and her husband, David; a grandson, Jason Pollard of Hurst and several
                                nieces and nephews.
