Tommy J. Pinkston, 76, of Brownfield will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday,
March 1, 2011, at Brownfield Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Chris
Downer officiating. Burial will be in Terry County Memorial Cemetery
under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home. The family will receive visitors from 6-7 p.m. Monday, February 28, at the funeral home. Tommy passed away Thursday, February 24, 2011, in Lubbock. He was born February 8, 1935, in Tyronza, Arkansas to Kernel L. and Edna Lucille Pinkston. He graduated from MISCO High School in 1953. He joined the U.S. Air Force on July 19, 1954 and retired from that service after 30 years. He married Victoria Mickey Starnes on May 15, 1981, in Shertz, Texas. Tommy is survived by his wife and best friend, Mickey, of Brownfield; a daughter, Rebecca Lee Monroe of Kingwood; a step-son, Samuel Skinner of Norman, Okla.; four grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
