Obituary for Lloyd T. Pickett

Services for Lloyd T. Pickett, 91, of Brownfield were held at 10:30 am,
Wednesday, Aug. 20 at Brownfield Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Don McWhorter officiating. Burial was in Terry County Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.

Lloyd passed away Sunday, Aug. 17. 2008, in Lubbock. He was born
April 20, 1917, to Ramon Ivey and Veta Nancy Pickett in Sulphur Springs and moved to Terry County in 1932. He was a World War II Army Veteran.

He married Irene McElroy, April 13, 1946, in Brownfield. She preceded him in
death on March 20, 1988. He was also preceded in death by two sisters.

Lloyd is survived by his sons, Larry and his wife, Madeline, and Raymond and his wife, Susan, all of Brownfield; three grandchildren, Mandi Boland and husband Carl of Lubbock, Beau Pickett and wife Randi of Conroe and Rusty Pickett of Brownfield; four great-grandchildren, Taylor and Bryson Pickett of Brownfield and Hailee and Camdyn Boland.
