Phillips, 58, passed away Wednesday, May 13, 2009, at his residence
in Brownfield. Memorial services for Mr. Phillips will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, May 18 at Mark A. Jones Memorial Chapel in Brownfield. Personel services are under the direction of Mark Jones Funeral Directors of Brownfield. Mr. Phillips was born March 13, 1951, to Charlie and Euphronicous in Memphis, Texas. Jack went to school in California, moved to Brownfield in 1974. He married Donna Grimes on Jan. 1, 1976, in Brownfield. He is survived by ex-wife Donna Phillips of Brownfield; two sons, Joshua Phillips and Christopher Phillips, both of Brownfield; one daughter, Amanda Dymale and husband Wayne of New Braunfels; three brothers, Ross Phillips of Lubbock, Paul Phillips of Early and Jerry Phillips of Marble Falls; one sister, Shirley Baker of Brownfield. He also leaves behind two grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Charles Phillips and Bob Phillips. Family request that in lieu of flowers that memorials be made to City of Brownfield Animal Shelter at 201 W. Broadway, Brownfield, Texas 79316. Brownfield News |
