Perez, age 61, passed from this life on Friday, April 20, 2012, in
Brownfield. Visitation for Mrs. Perez will be Monday, April 23, 2012, from 10:00 A.M to 8:00 P.M. Prayer Service will be at 6:00 P.M., Monday, April 23, 2012, at Mark A Jones Memorial Chapel. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 24, 2012, at 2:00 P.M. at Templo Betel with Pastor Santos Gamez officiating. Burial will follow at Brownfield Cemetery in Brownfield. These services have been entrusted to Mark A. Jones Funeral Directors of Brownfield. Mrs. Perez was born on October 6, 1950, to Avelino and Juanita DeLeon in Meadow, Texas. She married Elias (Leo) Perez on October 6, 2000, in Brownfield, Texas. Her family remembers how much fun she had playing cars with the grandchildren, family get togethers and going to the Casino. She often spoke of how great it was to raise her grand daughter Mercedes and great Grandson Bryden Lee. Those left to cherish her memories are: her husband Leo of the home; 3 Sons: Simon Antonio Saldana of Big Springs, Manuel Saldana of Dodge City, Kansas and Robert Lee Alvarado of Garden City, Kansas: 3 Daughters: Denise Rodriguez and Mary Ellen Saldana of Brownfield and Lisa Enriquez of Garden City, Kansas; 3 Brothers: Alfred Flores and Avelino DeLeon, Jr. both of Brownfield and Edward Flores of Portland, Oregon and 2 Sisters: Gloria Rivera of Brownfield and Janie Deleon of Dodge City, Kansas. She also leaves behind 22 Grandchildren and 27 ½ Great-Grandchildren. She is preceded in death by parents: Avelino and Juanita DeLeon and 1 Sister: Mary Lou DeLeon. |
