Cipriano N. Perez, 78, of Ulysses, Kans. and formerly of Brownfield
were held Saturday, Jan. 5, 2008, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church
in Brownfield. Interment was in Brownfield
Cemetery with Father Gerald Leatham officiating.
Cremation arrangements were under the direction of Mark A. Jones
Funeral Directors of Brownfield. Cipriano was born on Oct. 1, 1929, to Maclovio and Juanita Perez in Beeville. He is survived by three sons--Cipriano Jr. of Odessa, Joe Luis of Michigan; and David of Austin, and six daughters--Charlotte Pauda of Brownfield, Irma Ramirez of Ft. Collins, Co; Isabel Chavez of North Carolina, Susie Perez of California, Lydia Martinez of Victoria, and Janie Perez of Seminole. He is also survived by 29 Grandchildren and 40 Great Grandchildren. Mr. Perez is also survived by five brothers--Locario, Desiderio, Maclovio, Endercio and Jose all of Mexico, and three sisters--Ygnacia, Gloria, and Maria and one aunt Carolina, all of Mexico. He was preceded in death by his wife and parents; by one brother--Porfirio, four grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
