Dora Mae Overman, 78, of Brownfield will be at 2 p.m., Monday, Feb.
2, at the Brownfield Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Chris Seaton
officiating. Dora Mae passed away Friday, Jan. 30, 2009, in Brownfield. She was born Sept. 27, 1930, in Hobbs, N.M. to Tommy and Opal Roby and moved to Brownfield in 1935 with her family. She graduated from Wellman High School. Dora Mae is preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Cherry Mears. Dora Mae is survived by a daughter, Dawana Overman and her husband James Miller of Brownfield; a son, Rick Overman of Malaysia; 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a brother, Wayman Davis of Weatherford; and a sister, Marie Hackney of Spokane, Wash.
