23, of Brownfield died Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2007, in Lubbock.
Services will be at Mark A. Jones Memorial Chapel, at 10 a.m.
Monday, Nov. 12. Burial will follow at Terry
County Memorial Cemetery in Brownfield. Mr. Nunez was born on Sept. 11, 1984, in Lubbock to Guillermo and Maria Perez in Lubbock. He spent his entire life in Brownfield and attended Brownfield Schools. On July 9, 2005, Rene married Amanda Alvarado in Brownfield. His family described him as a man who loved music, a good listener and was very helpful to many people. He could always make you smile. But the thing he enjoyed most was spending time with his children. Mr. Nunez is survived by his wife--Amanda of the home, one son--Caleb, also of the home and one daughter--Zoey Celesste Nunez of Levelland. He is also survived by one brother--Roberto of Amarillo and three sisters--Angelica Maria Gutierrez of Hooker, Okla., Maria Elena Montoya of Borger, and Maria Teresa Montoya of Liberal, Kans. Mr. Nunez was preceded in death by one sister--Monica Lee Araiza in 1981; one brother--Ramon Araiza in 1982. His grandparents--Raul Sanchez and Elena Flores Sanchez and one uncle, Ruben Sanchez.
