Northcutt, 83, of Paris, and a longtime resident of Monahans, passed
away Sunday, March 11, 2012, at her home. She was born on August 5, 1928, in Mitchell County, Texas, the twelfth child of Lucious and Lillie Cook Saunders. She was of the Baptist Faith, an administrative assistant and a care giver. She married Luke Northcutt on December 6, 1943, in Colorado City, Texas. He preceded her in death in 1976. Survivors are her two daughters Bobbie Hughes and husband Bill of Sumner, Texas. and Andrea Hardaway and husband Erich of Midland, Texas; grandchildren Heath Hughes and wife Traci of Frisco, Brad Hughes and wife Dana of Frisco, Luke Hardaway and Katie Rose Hardaway of Midland; great granddaughters Laura, Lindsey and Kylie; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews; front porch party friends. Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Wednesday at the Terry County Memorial Cemetery in Brownfield. The family requests in lieu of flowers memorials be made to Meals on Wheels or a charity of choice.
