services for Luella Mae Nave, 75, of Brownfield were held April 29
at Terry County Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Steve Carter
officiating. Burial was under the direction of Brownfield Funeral
Home. Luella passed away Monday, April 28, 2008, in Brownfield. She was born May 1, 1932 in Roseau, Minn. to Vernice and Genivieve Winter. She married Charles Jon Nave on March 27, 1964, in Carson City, Nev. They moved to Brownfield Jan. 4, 1986. He preceded her in death Jan. 8, 2006. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Luella is survived by three sons, Chuck Nave and his wife Renea of Brownfield, Hugh Darrell Brocklehurst and his wife Doris of Brownfield and Rusty Porter and his wife Janet of Mansfield, Ohio; three daughters, Katy Cabe and her husband Gary of Brownfield, Pamela Gail Griffin and her husband Bruce of Panama City, Fla. Jenny Mae Scherer and her husband Ken of Knoxville, Ohio; 14 grandchildren and six great grandchildren and numerous beloved friends.
