Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Anthony's Catholic Church with Father Gerald Leatham officiating. Burial will follow in Terry County Memorial Cemetery. Personal services are under the direction of Mark A. Jones Funeral Directors of Brownfield.

Mr. Navarro was born April 20 1980, to Faustino and Dora Linda (Vasquez) Navarro in Lubbock. Ruben lived in Brownfield his whole life. He worked at Thermo Fluids and as a farmer's hand.

He is survived by his wife Cristela Navarro of Brownfield; parents, Faustino and Dora Navarro of Brownfield; paternal grandparents, Pedro and Manuela of Tahoka; one son, Joshua Cruz of Brownfield; two daughters, Carolyn Navarro of Brownfield, and Anjel Shea Navarro of Goodland, Kan.; one brother, Brandon Vasquez of Brownfield; four sisters, Virgina Alaniz, Andrea Navarro, Janie Salas of Brownfield and Jennifer Lujan of Lubbock; and several aunts and uncles. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Gavino and Adelina Vasquez.
