48, of Brownfield died on Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2007, at her residence. A Rosary was prayed Thursday, Oct. 18, at Mark A. Jones Memorial Chapel in Brownfield and the funeral mass was held Friday, Oct. 19, in St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Brownfield. Father Gerald Leatham officiated. Burial was in Brownfield Cemetery. Mrs. Muņoz was born on Nov. 13, 1958, to Domingo and Maria Cruz in Lubbock. Her family moved to Lubbock soon after her birth. She was a life long resident of Brownfield. She is survived by her parents, Domingo and Maria Cruz of Brownfield; two sons--Sylvester, Jr. and Sammy both of Brownfield; two daughters--Alexandra Alaniz of Brownfield and Stephine Muņoz of Lubbock. Mrs. Muņoz was preceded in death by one daughter--Sally Muņoz on April 14, 1993, her maternal grandparents--Sirildo and Dominga Arguellez and her paternal grandmother--Natitada Cruz.
