Obituary for Maria Isabel Moroles

Maria I. Moroles, 83, of Brownfield went to be with her Lord on Friday, December
11, 2009.   Funeral Mass will be at 2 p.m. Monday at St. Anthony's Catholic
Church with Father Gerald Leatham officiating. Interment will follow in Brownfield Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home. Viewing will be available
from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the funeral home.   Rosary will be at 6:00 both nights.

Maria was born on July 8, 1926 in Saltillo, Coahuila, Mexico to Felipe and
Sofia Arredondo. She married Santos Moroles on August 6, 1950 in Saltillo,
Mexico. He preceded her in death on January 29, 2005.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and one sister.   She was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church, where she participated in
many activities, including the Guadalupanas.

Maria is survived by three sons, Ignacio Moroles and wife Veronica of Perryton,
Joe Moroles and wife Liz and Santos Moroles and wife Joveta all of Odessa; four
daughters, Isabel Mermella of San Angelo, Emilia Franco and husband Ramiro of
Brownfield, Gracie Romo and husband Roger of Abilene and Sofia Coronado and
husband Danny of Georgetown; her brother Andres Arredondo of Saltillo, Coahuila,
Mexico; two sisters, Graciela Duran of Monterey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico and sister
Emilia Arrendondo of San Antonio; 25 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren and 2
great great grandchildren.
