Anita Morin, 79, of Brownfield will be at 10 Wednesday, Aug. 13, at
St. Anthony's Cathloic Church with Father Gerald Leatham
officiating. Burial will be in Brownfield Cemetery under the
direction of Brownfield Funeral Home. Anita passed away Saturday, Aug. 9, 2008, in Brownfield. She was born on Feb. 20, 1929, to Jacinto and Francisca Garcia in Helena. She married Felix Morin on Dec. 5, 1947, in Karnes City. He preceded her in death 1986. Anita was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church. Anita is survived by two daughters, Dora Perez of Kansas and Sylvia Serbantez of Brownfield; three sons, Lucas Morin of Lubbock, Gilbert Morin of Lubbock and Richard Morin of Brownfield; a sister, Lucia Martinez of Brownfield; three brothers, Jesus Garcia of Lamesa, Martin Garcia of Plains and Greg Garcia of Kansas; 19 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren and five great-great- grandchildren.
