services for Betty Moreman, 82, of Brownfield were held Friday, Feb.
1st, at the Terry County Memorial Cemetery with Jerry Roberts
officiating. Mrs. Moreman died Wednesday, Jan. 30,
2008, in Brownfield. She was born on June 8, 1925, to William Howard and Ida Roberts in Leedey, Okla., where she attended schools. She moved to Brownfield in 1950. Mrs. Moreman married R.V. Moreman on Oct. 3, 1952, in Lovington, N.M. He preceded her in death on May 18, 1989. She worked for the Brownfield State Bank for 22 years, retiring in 1972. She was a member of the Methodist Church. Mrs. Moreman is survived by one daughter--Renee Willis of Lubbock; two grandchildren--Kirk Willis and his wife--Kari of Lubbock and Jenee Gibson and her husband--Mike of Lubbock. She is also survived by four great grandchildren--Ashley, Haley, Kara and Landry. Memorials may be made to the Haven Animal Shelter in Lubbock. Brownfield News |
