TYLER — Services for Eunice V. Moore, 92, of Tyler will be at 11 a.m. Saturday
at Lloyd James Funeral Chapel in Tyler with Clark Dugger officiating. Burial
will be
at 11:30 a.m. Monday in Terry County Memorial Cemetery in Brownfield under the
direction of Lloyd James Funeral Home of Brownfield. She died Thursday,
Nov. 14, 2002.
She was born March 26, 1910, in Fairview, Ala. She married J.W. Moore Jr.
on June 28, 1931,
in Brownfield. She lived in Terry and Yoakum counties and farmed and ranched and
worked
in retail until 1974. She sold the family business and retired, moving to Burnet
and then
to Tyler in 1989.
She attended several schools and graduated from Brownfield High School in 1930.
As a
young child, she lived in Los Angeles, Calif., Oklahoma, Alabama and Tennessee.
She was
a member of Rice Road Church of Christ and was a retired dry good merchant. She
was
preceded in death by her husband, J.W. Moore.
Survivors include three sons, Bobby Lynn of Tyler, James Hayward of Weston and
Luther
Wayne of Clyde; a daughter, Betty Ann Rushing of Plains; a brother, Thomas Alton
Elmore
of Brownfield; a sister, Hattie B. Brantley of Brownfield; nine grandchildren;
16 great-
grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
