Erwin Moore, 83, of Brownfield will be at 2 p.m., Wednesday, July 1,
at Brownfield First Baptist Church with Rev. Randy Land officiating.
Burial will be in Terry County Memorial Cemetery under the direction
of Brownfield Funeral Home. The family received friends
from 6-7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Erwin passed away Saturday, June 27, 2009, in Lubbock. He was born Jan. 11, 1926, in Brownfield. He graduated from Brownfield High School in 1943 and received a Bachelor's Degree in Business at Texas Tech University. He taught high school math for more than 30 years. Erwin married Mary Ellen Patton on June 4, 1949, in Brownfield. She preceded him in death in 2000. He was a WWII Army Veteran and member of the American Legion. He also retired from Air Force Reserves. He was a member of First Baptist Church. Erwin is also preceded in death by a brother and a sister. He is survived by a daughter, Tricia Moore of Tyler; two sons, Win Moore and wife Janice of Coppell and Mark Moore of Brownfield; a brother, L. G. Moore and wife Lois of Brownfield and a sister Mary Lackey of Lubbock; brother-in-law, Gordon Patton and wife Betty of Brownfield; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Brownfield News |
