| Jack Edward Monfore, 86, of Brownfield,
passed away on Friday, January 8 at his home. He
was born to parents, Earl and Mona Monfore, on October 8, 1923, in
Springfield, South Dakota. On March 20, 1946, he married Junerose Marie Burmeister and together they raised 6 children; 5 sons and 1 daughter. Jack was preceded in death by his wife, Junerose Monfore, on Nov. 7, 1997, as well as by 3 sons, Monte Monfore, Mark Monfore and Donald Mills. Surviving him are sons, Jack Monfore Jr. of Brownfield, William Monfore of Phelen, California, and Patricia Saylor of Phelen, California. He had 15 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Jack was a longtime member of the Brownfield Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses where he served as a Ministerial Servant, or deacon. Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, January 16, at the Brownfield Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 303 E. Magnolia. The service will begin at 3:00 pm with Ben Benson, minister, officiating. The family suggests memorials to the charity of your choice. Brownfield News |
