Teresa Gale McHan, 57, of Brownfield will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan.
2, 2009, at Immanuel Baptist Church with Michael Gee officiating. Teresa was born on Feb. 16, 1951, in Brownfield to Darwin and LaQuita Cargill. She attended high school in Lubbock. She married Bruce McHan on Nov. 23, 1982, in Wolfforth. He preceded her in death on Feb. 14, 1994. She is also preceded in death by her sister Kimberly Cargill Dosher on Nov. 19, 2000, and her father Darwin Cargill on Jan. 5, 2002. Teresa worked for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice as a correctional officer until 2006. She was a very loving free spirit who lived for her family. Her grandchildren, niece and dog, Amy, were her life. Teresa is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Halpain and her husband David of Amarillo; her son, Roy McCalib, Jr. and his wife Brandi of Lubbock; her mother, LaQuita Cargill of Brownfield; three grandchildren; Jeseka Halpain, McKinzie McCalib and Hunter McCalib; her niece, Haley Dosher of Lubbock; her step-brother, Douglas Cobb Cargill of Alaska and numerous Family members whom she loved dearly. Family Visitation will be from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 31 at the Brownfield Funeral Home
