Services for Pedro Pacheco Martinez, 88, of Brownfield will be held at 10am Thursday, August 30, 2012, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church with Msgr. James O'Connor officiating. Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 29, 2012, at Brownfield Funeral Home.
 
Pedro Martinez was born on June 19, 1924, in Mathis, TX to Alfredo and Maria Martinez. In 2006 Pedro married Manuela Rodriguez in Killeen. He worked as a groundskeeper at Lakeridge in Lubbock. Pedro is preceded in death by his parents, Alfredo and Maria Martinez, a son, Frank Martinez and a daughter, Maria Garza.
 
Pedro is survived by his wife, Manuela Martinez, 4 daughters; Manuela Baez and husband, Efrain, of Killeen, Dora Resendez and husband, Marcelo, of Lubbock, Lucia Martinez of Wharton, and Maria Campos of Houston, 3 Sons; Glafiro Martinez and wife, Sukyong of Killeen, Pedro Martinez Jr. and wife, Maggie of Ralls, Felix Martinez and wife, Becky, of Lubbock, 21 grandchildren, and 51 great grandchildren and 1 great great-grandchild.
