Obituary for
Enemecio S. Macias

Services for Enemecio S. Macias, 70, of Brownfield, were held Wednesday,
Nov. 23, 2005, in the Brownfield Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Minister
Enrique Hernandez officiating. Burial was in Brownfield Cemetery under the
direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.
Mr. Macias died Monday, Nov. 21, 2005, in Lubbock. He was born Oct.
9, 1935,
in Abasolo, Coahuila, Mexico, and was married to Maria Garza on April 5, 1954,
in
Rio Bravo, Tamaulipas, Mexico. He finished school in Mexico and
moved to
Brownfield in 1966 where he farmed for many years. He also drove a
farm truck for
more than 15 years. He was a member of the First Assembly of God
Church.
He is survived by his wife and 14 children: Candy Leos, Angie Macias, Julie
Moreno,
Ida Macias, Eva Macias and Raul Macias, all of Dallas, J. Manual Macias and
Enemecio Macias, Jr., both of Balch Springs, Noemie Martinez of Waco, Micael
Macias
of Hobbs, NM, Alice Jaromillo of Grants, NM, Abel Macias of Plano and Ruth
Flores
of Galveston.
Mr. Macias is also survived by four brothers - Belisario Macias and Juan Antonio
Macias
both of Edinburg, Saul Macias of Brownfield and Jose Maria Macias of Andrews;
and by
41 grandchildren.
