Lydia Rendon Loya, 90, of Brownfield will be at 2 pm Wednesday, Nov.
26, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church with Father Diaz Nelson
officiating. Burial will be in Terry County Memorial Cemetery under
the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home. Lydia passed away Monday, Nov. 24, 2008, in Lubbock. She was born July 25, 1918, in Harlingen to Nicolas and Cleotilole Montalvo Rendon. She married Manuel Loya, Aug. 21, 1936, in Lyford. She and her husband moved to Brownfield in 1984. He preceded her in death in April 2001. She was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church. Lydia is survived by five daughters, Sue Jones and husband Johnny of Brownfield, Lydia Font and husband Dennis of Mansfield, Beatrice Hancock and husband David of Mansfield, Olivia Bell of Grand Prairie and Mary Rodriguez and husband Gilbert of Grand Prairie; a son, Manuel Loya of Lubbock; 15 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; three great great-grandchildren; and a sister, Yolanda Martinez of Snyder.
