age 79, of Meadow passed away Monday, March 12, 2007, at Brownfield
Regional Medical Center. Rosaries were recited Tuesday and Wednesday evenings at 6:00 P.M. at Mark A. Jones Memorial Chapel in Brownfield. A Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 A.M., Thursday, March 15, 2007, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church with father Gerald Leatham officiating. Burial will follow at Brownfield Cemetery. Mrs. Lopez was born on May 15, 1927, to Jose Alvarez and Margarita Alcoser in Mexico. She attended schools in Mexico. She was a Catholic. In 1948, Isidra married Manuel Lopez in Harlingen, Texas. Mrs. Lopez lived in Brownfield but she has been in Meadow for 25 years. Her favorite pastime was taking care of her family. Survivors include her husband Manuel, 3 Sons: Cecil of Eldorado, Joe of Brownfield and Jesse of Levelland. 2 Daughters: Stella Granado of Meadow and Mary Garay of Brownfield and 1 brother: Marcelino Garcia of Edcouch, Texas. She also left 14 Grandchildren and 38 Great-Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, Juan, in 1966. Brownfield News |
