services for Joyce Laverne Light, 71, of Brownfield will be at 2
p.m., Monday, February 9, 2009, at Terry County Memorial Cemetery
with Rev. Doug Puryear officiating. Services will be under the
direction of Brownfield Funeral Home. Joyce passed away
Friday, February 6, 2009, in Lubbock.
She was born
January 7, 1938, in Brownfield to Willie Ferman and Connie Dell
Jones. Joyce was raised in Terry County where she graduated from
Union High School. She then attended Draughn's Business College
receiving an Associate Degree in Accounting. She was a member of
First Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, a
sister, Sue Dell Leach and a brother, Jimmy Simmons |
