Elbert Landess, 65, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, January 24, at
First Baptist Church with Rev. Randy Land officiating under the
direction of Brownfield Funeral Haome. Internment will follow at the
Terry County Memorial Cemeter. Elbert passed away Sunday, Jan. 20, 2008, in Brownfield. He was born February 13, 1942, to C. E. and Alene Landess in Coleman, Texas, and moved to Brownfield with his parents in 1943. He graduated from Brownfield High School. He was employed with Terry County as a maintenance driver for 24 years until his retirement in 2004. He married Roberta "Bobbie" Hart on January 1, 1966 in El Campo, Texas. He was a member of First Baptist Church. Elbert is survived by his wife and his daughter, Laura Langner, and her husband, Brian, of Knippa, Texas. Brownfield News |
