Services for Patricia Lincoln Knight, 71, of Brownfield will be at 10am, Thursday, July 19, 2012, at the First Baptist Church in Brownfield with Rev. Ken Flowers officiating. Burial will be in Terry County Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.
 
Patty passed away Monday, July 16, 2012, in Brownfield. She was born August 25, 1940, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Alton B. and Marjorie (Reese) Whittaker. She graduated from Dallas High School in Pennsylvania, Bloomsburg College and then received her Masters of Education from Texas Tech University in 1982. She married Bobby Dean Knight on June 13, 1964, in Breckenridge, Texas. They moved to West Texas soon after. Patty was a teacher for 31 years, retiring in 1995. She was a member of Brownfield First Baptist Church.
 
Patty is survived by her husband Bobby of Brownfield; a daughter, Amy Townsel and husband North of McKinney; 3 grandchildren, Ryan, Cade and Morgan Appleby of McKinney; 2 step grandchildren, Taylor and Tori Townsel of Waxahachie; 2 brothers, Alton Whittaker and wife Nena of Carrizozo, NM and Bill Whittaker and wife Pat of Colorado Springs, CO.
