Services for Frances Laura Young Kirby, 88, of Brownfield were held Tuesday,
January 31, with Rev. Ken Horn officiating. Burial was in Terry
County Memorial
Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.
Mrs. Kirby died Saturday, January 28, 2006, in Brownfield. She was
born
August 8, 1917, in Jones County and was married to Carroll Young on August 2,
1934, in Tuscola. He died on October 2, 1979. She was
married to W. L. Kirby
on July 4, 1980, in Brownfield. He died on July 29, 1999.
She moved to Terry County in 1945 and was a member of the Brownfield Church of
Christ.
She is survived by three sons: Phil Young of Brownfield, Gaylon Young of
Farmington,
N.M., and David Young of Abilene, and by five grandchildren.
