for Frances King, 97, of Brownfield will be at Brownfield Funeral
Home Chapel with Rev. Chris Seaton officiating. Burial will be in
Terry County Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield
Funeral Home. Frances passed away Sunday, Nov. 29, 2009, in Lubbock. She was born Sept. 4, 1912, in Telephone to J. H. and Nancy Carpenter. She graduated from Brownfield High School. Frances married James Brown King on March 16, 1931, in Tahoka. He preceded her in death Oct. 26, 1992. She is also preceded in death by one grand-daughter, Tanya Melton, and one great grand-daughter. She was a member of the Home Demonstration Club and First Presbyterian Church. Frances is survived by a son, Jerry B. King and wife Sharron of Port Orchard, Wash.; a daughter, Nancy Howard of Brownfield; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Brownfield News |
