Obituary for Nellie Lee Karr

Nellie Lee Karr, 86, of Brownfield passed away on Sunday, November 22, 2009. Services will be at 2:00 Wednesday at Brownfield Funeral Home Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Terry County Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.

Nellie was born on January 5, 1923, in Davis, Oklahoma, to John Thomas and Beatrice Goodnight. She married Grady Randall Karr on October 14, 1940, in Tahoka. He preceded her in death on January 1, 1995. Nellie was a member of the Church of Christ.

She is survived by three sons, Grady Karr of Brownfield, David Karr and his wife Connie of Lubbock and Mark Karr and his wife Sheila of Lubbock: her daughter, Yvette Karr Arnold and her husband Jerry of Lubbock; 10 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
